Buying a piece

There's only ever one of each
Every piece is wrapped by hand around a stone I picked myself, so nothing here comes out twice the same. When a piece sells, it's gone — I can make something in the same spirit, but not the same piece.
A cart isn't a hold
Putting a piece in your cart doesn't reserve it. It's yours when the payment goes through, not before. Checkout stays open for thirty minutes and then lets the piece go. If someone buys it while you're partway through, the site stops you and you aren't charged.
Prices
All prices are in US dollars. The price on the listing when you order is the price you pay, and anything added at checkout is shown to you before you pay it. Prices move now and then, the way materials and stones do.
Paying
Stripe handles payment. Your card details go to them and never touch this site. Your order is real once Stripe confirms the payment and you get a confirmation email with an order number on it.
Where I ship
Inside the United States. Checkout only accepts a US shipping address. If you're somewhere else and you want a piece, write to me before you order and we'll see what's possible.
The address you give me
It goes where you typed. If you spot a mistake, tell me quickly — before it ships I can fix anything, after it ships I'm at the mercy of USPS like everyone else.

Returns & repairs

Returns
Within 14 days of delivery, as long as it's unworn. Message me first so I know it's coming, then send it to RETURNS_ADDRESS_PLACEHOLDER. Return postage is on you. Once it's back in my hands I refund to the card you paid with. The shipping & care page has the practical side of it.
What can't come back
Custom pieces, and anything wrapped around a stone you sent me. They were made to your spec, for you, so they're final.
Repairs
For 12 months from delivery I'll fix a structural fault in a piece I made — a wire that gives out, a wrap that opens, a joint that fails. Postage in is on you. Outside those 12 months, or when it's ordinary wear, plating worn thin, or a stone that's been dropped, write to me anyway. Most things can be fixed and I'll tell you what it takes.

Stones & materials

Stones are natural, so they vary
The photo on a listing is that exact piece, but screens render color differently and stones read differently in daylight. Inclusions, cloudiness, natural lines and small nicks are part of a real stone, not faults.
Plated wire is plated
The gold-tone and silver-tone wire is plated over a base metal — not solid gold, not sterling. Plating wears with time, water and friction. Keep it dry and it holds its color for years, but wearing through eventually is the material doing what it does.
Copper and brass move
They darken, and copper can leave a green mark on skin. It's harmless, it washes off, and a polish cloth brings the metal back.

Custom work

How a custom order runs
We talk it through first, I quote before any work starts, and nothing gets made until you've said yes to the quote.
If you send me your own stone
Wrapping puts real tension on a stone. Stones crack — especially ones that are already fractured, thin, previously drilled, or soft to begin with. If yours breaks while I'm working on it I'll tell you the same day, but I can't replace it and I can't pay out what it was worth. Sending a stone means you've taken that risk on. If it's irreplaceable to you, please keep it.
Photos you upload
I use them to work out the piece and nothing else. Send only photos that are yours to send.

What the stone notes are

Intention and adornment, not medicine
The meanings, chakras, zodiac signs and intentions written on this site come from tradition and from how people have long used these stones. They're there because they mean something to the people wearing them. Nothing here diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents anything, and no piece of jewelry is a substitute for a doctor, a therapist, or the medication you're on.

Odds and ends

The photos and words are mine
Share a piece you love, with credit — that's a kindness. Don't lift the photos or the copy for your own listings.
If something on the site is wrong
Typos happen and stock can lag by a few minutes. If a piece is listed at the wrong price, or turns out to be already sold, I'll cancel the order and refund in full rather than pretend otherwise.
Bought on Etsy?
Orders placed through my Etsy shop run under Etsy's own policies and are handled there, not here.
If these terms change
The date at the top changes with them. The terms that apply to your order are the ones on this page the day you ordered.
