Shipping & care

The short answers. If yours isn't here, just ask.

Shipping

When does it ship?
Ready-made pieces go out within 3–5 business days. Custom work ships when it's finished — usually two to three weeks.
How does it get here?
USPS Ground Advantage with tracking, usually 2–5 days once it's out the door. $6 flat, free over $100.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet — checkout only accepts US addresses, so an order from abroad won't go through. Email me at divinewirejewelryusa@gmail.com with the piece and the country and I'll work out the postage by hand. I'd rather quote you honestly than have you hit a wall halfway through checkout.

Returns & repairs

Can I return it?
Yes, if it's unworn. Email me within 14 days of the day it's delivered and I'll confirm where to send it. Unworn means it hasn't been out of the house — no scratches, no bent wire, back in the pouch it came in. Custom pieces and wraps of a stone you sent me are final.
Who pays return postage?
You do, and please send it tracked — until it lands it's still your piece. Once it's here and it checks out I refund the price of the piece; the $6 shipping stays put. Returns go to RETURNS_ADDRESS_PLACEHOLDER.
It broke — now what?
Send me a photo first. If it's a fault in my wrapping — a bail that pulled through, a wrap that worked loose — I'll repair it free for 12 months from the delivery date. You cover postage to me, I cover it coming home. Past that, or if it got dropped, snagged or shut in a car door, email me anyway: I'll still fix it, I'll just quote you first.
Will the plating wear off?
Eventually, yes. Plating is a thin skin of silver-tone or gold-tone metal over a base metal, not solid silver or gold, and it thins wherever a piece rubs — the back of a chain, the inside of a band, the bail. That's a finish doing what finishes do, so it isn't a fault I can repair away. Keeping it dry buys you years.
Wrong ring size?
The rings in the shop are adjustable — ease the band open or closed a little at a time. If it still won't sit right, email me inside the 14 days and send it back. I'll re-wrap it to fit, no charge for the work; you just cover postage to me.

Taking care of it

Can I shower in it?
Better not — plated wire wears faster when it's wet, and brass and copper spot. Last thing on, first thing off.
It's turning dark
That'll be brass or copper, tarnishing the way they both do. A polish cloth brings it back. Go gentle on plated pieces though — hard polishing takes the plating with it.
Storing it
Flat and dry, in the pouch it came in. Don't let chains tangle.
