Rough Black Striated Stone on Copper

A rough black stone, left unpolished, held down by a few turns of copper-tone wire. It has enough weight that you notice it sitting there, which is most of what you want from a pendant.

◆Copper-tone wire in broad turns across the face
◆Rose-gold-tone cable chain with lobster clasp
◆Stone approx. 1.5" long
◆Unpolished — the surface stays rough on purpose

✶ Stone notes

Left rough rather than tumbled, so it still has the grain it came out of the ground with, and heavy enough to feel like something is holding you down in a good way. The copper wire crosses it in a few blunt turns instead of a cage — this piece is not trying to be delicate.
