Grey with violet under it depending on the light, and a copper-tone tree grown right over the front. The bail alone took a while — you can see it.

Grey in the shade, violet in the sun, and never quite the same colour twice in a day. The copper across the front is the most work in this whole shoot — a full tree and a woven bail — so it is as much a wire piece as a stone one.
